And thank you to Fr. Vincent, Shannon Laird, and everyone at Holy Rosary in Edmonds – you brought in a huge $4,368.00!

October is Respect Life month. Here at Next Step of course every month is Respect Life Month but back in 1972 (according to USCCB) the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops officially made it a sacred month to celebrate and uphold the sanctity of life.
Next Step is scheduled to have two combination Baby Bottle Campaigns this month. A physical bottle handout at St. Brendan Church in Bothell the weekend of October 3rd/4th and at Holy Rosary in Edmonds the weekend of October 10th/11th. We are also offering a Virtual Baby Bottle Campaign found here on this site (nssupport.org) under the heading “Baby Bottle Campaign”. Donation can be made both ways.
Also, please check out Coffee and Doughnuts with Father Wichert on Facebook Live Saturday September 26th at 11:30am as Next Step Pregnancy Services Executive Director Heather Vasquez will be his guest!
Shout out to Juan Pablo, a family member of one of our Next Step staff, who generously created our Baby Bottle Graphic!
Be on the look out for our Fall Baby Bottle Campaigns starting. We are doing a combination of virtual and physical. We’d love to come to your church or organization to share about our life-affirming ministry!
Hello friends! I invite you to watch this very short video and I hope it touches your heart and reinforces why you believe in Next Step Pregnancy Services and why your support is so very essential! This is “Stephanie”. You may remember her from a very brief clip on our Annual Virtual Gala back in June. Here is her full interview in its entirety. Take a watch, share, and again – if it touches your heart as it did mine when I sat down with her – please continue to support Next Step Pregnancy Services with your time, talent, and treasure! Even more so in a time when things go from bleak to bleaker. There is always hope and where there is hope – there is life.
Next Step Pregnancy Services is about sharing truth and life. Stephanie’s exact story is why we do what we do.But being able to take a step back, get informed, feel heard, and realize you have choices is all it takes to change fear into hope. For Stephanie being able to see her child during the ultrasound was what she needed to move forward with hope. And Next Step, with the help of supporters like you, provided that hope for Stephanie and her little girl.
P.S excuse the missing “N”!
Next Step had two sisters come into the clinic seeking help. One sister was visiting from Mongolia and while here discovered she was with child. This was at the start of the travel restrictions due to COVID19. Unfortunately she was stuck here, pregnant, and unable to communicate. That’s where Next Step – stepped in. The gal was a little shy about being on camera but asked her sister to write a letter expressing her thanks for Next Step helping her in her time of need. That’s what Next Step does – takes a moment of fear and uncertainty and offers a helping hand. Take a listen as our own Nancy read her letter.
